Before you pay anything
You pay nothing until it is
live and you are happy.
You would be handing money to someone who rang you out of the blue. Being careful about that is the right instinct. So the whole thing is built so that walking away costs you nothing.
No deposit. You pay afterwards
The site gets built, put on your domain and tested on your own phone first. The invoice comes after that. If you do not like it, you walk away having paid nothing.
Paid through PayPal
Invoices go out as PayPal invoices, so you are covered by PayPal buyer protection and their dispute process. Not a bank transfer into an account you cannot claw back from.
You buy the domain yourself
On your card, in your name, in your own account. The one asset that really matters is yours from day one and never sits with me.
You get the code and the hosting
A private repository you are invited to, and the hosting set up in your own account. There's no plan to cancel and nothing to switch off. It's yours to keep.

How fast will my site be live?
Most sites go from first call to live link in 3 days. Bigger custom builds take longer. You get a straight date on the call and we hold to it.
I already have a website. Does that matter?
We rebuild it properly and you keep your domain, your phone number, and your Google reviews. Nothing you've earned gets lost.
Do I need to write anything or send photos?
Photos from your phone and one 15-minute call is everything we need. We write the words, pick what shows off your work best, and handle the rest.
Who owns the website and the code?
You do. You are invited to a private repository holding the full source code, and the hosting project is transferred into your own account under your own login. It's all part of the $1,999 and none of it is held back to keep you paying. If we never speak again, the site stays exactly where it is, in your account.
How does my own domain get connected?
You buy the domain yourself, on your card, so it is registered in your name. Then you add two records at your registrar, an A record and a CNAME for the www version. The host prints the exact values for you and I will walk you through it on a call or by screenshot. It takes about five minutes and it is done once.
Can I change the text, phone number or photos myself later?
Yes. You get your own login to an editing dashboard. Change the words, swap a photo or update your number, then hit save. It's live. No emails and no hourly charge for a two-minute change. I'll show you how it works on a call before handover.
Am I locked into a contract?
No. You pay $1,999 once, after the site is live and you're happy with it. There's nothing ongoing, so there's nothing to lock you into.
Why are you cheaper than an agency?
Because there's no office, account manager or sales team to pay for. You deal with me, and I do the work. I also build the site before you pay, so there isn't a month of meetings and mockups on your bill. You judge the real thing.
Where are you based?
I am James and I work out of India, on Perth hours, 9am to 8pm your time. Ember Origin is a registered business there and that is where the invoices come from. The Australian number on this page is mine and it rings me, not a switchboard. I would rather tell you that up front than have you find it out later and wonder what else was left out.
